Shipping policy
Last updated: 1st September 2026
This Delivery Policy explains how delivery, collection and storage work when purchasing appliances and accessories from ID Appliances.
This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
1. Where we deliver
We currently deliver to UK mainland addresses.
Delivery availability may vary depending on the product, supplier and delivery postcode.
If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, please contact us before placing your order.
2. Delivery charges
Delivery charges are quoted individually and depend on factors such as:
-
the appliance or appliances ordered;
-
the size and weight of the order;
-
your delivery location;
-
the delivery method; and
-
whether the product is being delivered by us, a private courier, distributor or manufacturer.
Some orders may qualify for free delivery.
Any applicable delivery charge will be confirmed before your order is completed.
3. Arranging your delivery
You can request a preferred delivery date when placing or arranging your order.
Delivery dates are subject to product availability and the lead time required to prepare and arrange your delivery. We will let you know the earliest available delivery dates when arranging this with you.
Where a private courier is used, they will normally contact you within 24 hours before delivery to confirm your delivery slot or estimated arrival window.
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we specifically agree otherwise.
4. Changing your delivery date
If you need to change an agreed delivery date, please contact us as soon as possible.
We ask that changes are made no later than the Friday of the week before your scheduled delivery.
Changes requested after this point may not always be possible and could result in an additional delivery or rearrangement charge where costs have already been incurred.
5. Where we will deliver your appliance
Where reasonably possible, appliances will be delivered to your room of choice.
You are responsible for making sure there is safe and suitable access from the delivery vehicle to the intended room.
This includes checking:
-
doorways and entrances;
-
corridors;
-
staircases;
-
lifts;
-
appliance and packaged dimensions;
-
parking and vehicle access; and
-
any other restrictions which may affect delivery.
Please remember that an appliance in its packaging may be considerably larger than the appliance itself.
For particularly large or heavy products, the delivery team may require reasonable assistance from someone at the property where this is necessary and safe.
If you have any concerns about access or the size of an appliance, please speak to us before delivery.
6. Unpacking and installation
Our standard delivery service does not include:
-
unpacking the appliance;
-
installation or connection;
-
removal of packaging;
-
removal of your existing appliance; or
-
recycling or disposal of an existing appliance.
Where installation is available, this will be arranged separately and any applicable charges and requirements will be confirmed with you.
7. Split deliveries
Your order may sometimes arrive in more than one delivery.
For example, we may deliver stocked appliances using our private courier while a bespoke, special-order or manufacturer-supplied product is delivered separately by the relevant supplier or manufacturer.
Where an order will be split, we will let you know and provide the available delivery information for each part of the order.
Separate deliveries do not necessarily mean that additional delivery charges will apply. Any applicable charges will be confirmed with you.
8. Receiving your delivery
Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order.
A signature will be required to confirm delivery.
Where possible, please check the condition of the packaging and appliance while the delivery team is still present.
If there is obvious damage, please make the delivery driver aware and, where possible, ensure the damage is noted when signing for the delivery.
Please also take photographs of any visible damage to the appliance or packaging.
9. Damaged, incorrect or missing items
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Check:
-
that you have received the correct product;
-
the packaging for visible damage;
-
the appliance for visible damage where reasonably possible; and
-
that all expected items are present.
We ask that obvious damage, incorrect products or missing items are reported to us within 48 hours where possible.
We may ask for photographs of the product and packaging to help us investigate the issue with the relevant courier, supplier or manufacturer.
Reporting an issue quickly helps us resolve it more efficiently. The 48-hour request does not remove or limit your statutory rights.
Please retain the original packaging until you are satisfied that your order has arrived correctly and without damage.
10. Failed deliveries
Please make sure someone is available to receive your order and that suitable access has been provided.
If a delivery cannot be completed because:
-
nobody is available to receive it;
-
access is unsuitable or unsafe;
-
the appliance cannot fit through the available access route; or
-
incorrect delivery information has been provided,
the delivery will need to be rearranged.
A reasonable redelivery or failed-delivery charge may apply where we or the delivery provider incur additional costs.
11. Collection
Where agreed, appliances may be collected from our showroom or another collection point specified by us.
We will let you know when your order is ready for collection.
You may be asked to provide your order information and suitable identification when collecting your order.
12. Appliance storage
We understand that appliances are often purchased before a kitchen, renovation or property is ready.
By prior agreement and subject to available capacity, we may store purchased appliances for you for up to 6 months.
You are responsible for contacting us and arranging delivery or collection when you are ready to receive your appliances.
If the agreed storage period expires, we may ask you to arrange delivery or collection.
Where products remain with us beyond the agreed storage period, reasonable additional storage charges may apply. We will tell you before any additional charge is applied.
In most cases, the manufacturer's warranty will begin when the appliance is delivered to or collected by you. In some cases, the warranty may begin earlier while the appliance is in storage, depending on the manufacturer or supplier's terms.
13. Delivery delays
Some appliances are held in stock while others are ordered from manufacturers, distributors or suppliers.
Occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery, including manufacturer delays, stock shortages, transport disruption or severe weather.
If we become aware of a significant delay to your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.
